Take a look at Geo's Gift, my very first self-published book!
It tells the story of Polly the Pig as she searches the farm for her friend Geo the Goat's missing gift. While looking for Geo's gift, before the party, Polly asks the other animals for help, inadvertently exploring concepts of positional language such as up and down, left and right, near and far, and more. Beyond the learning aspect, the story emphasizes the theme of friendship, showing Polly that true value lies not in material possessions but in the importance of friendship itself.

In writing this book, I drew inspiration from authors like Eric Carle and Judy Cox, who create brilliant books that serve multiple teaching and learning purposes. I also referred to the Australian Curriculum and reflected on my own classroom experience, asking myself what kind of book I would want to use as a teacher. I hope you find that Geo's Gift conveys both a key message and is a useful practical resource for teaching.
